Anissa Cornelius is a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator & DONA-trained birth doula who loves supporting families. She has been serving families as a doula since 2016 and teaching comprehensive childbirth classes since 2017, after training with CAPPA, obtaining her certification in November 2018. Her interest in birth work started with her first pregnancy and quickly grew into a full blown passion for supporting women, their birthing needs and their families.
Anissa believes all women deserve options, support and respect during their birth experience and as they enter into parenthood. She is happily married and the mother of four spirited kids, two daughters and a set of twin boys. She fully embraces the joys and chaos of motherhood and is thrilled to be able to show them what it looks like to be people that pursue their dreams and passions in life.
